If, by now, you aren’t familiar with Joakim Benon and Elin Kastlander–better known as the Swedish dream pop duo jj, here’s a perfect opportunity to give them a listen. They put their lethargic vocals over instrumentals (as well as cover lyrics) from Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Taio Cruz, Lil Wayne, T.I. and more. It’s an intersting blend of rap and indie. Glad to see more Alternative acts getting into the mixtape game as well.
